We are here because of you!
At the Carroll County Community Center we are a lot more than just a gym.
We are a community.
Here, surrounded by friends as well as by caring, knowledgeable staff,
you can grow your physical, mental, and spiritual health in ways you never imagined.
Our Mission
The mission of the Carroll County Community Center is to provide people of all ages and abilities facilities, programs, and opportunities that will enhance their physical, mental, and spiritual health. Through our interaction, we also strive to foster community spirit through friendship and teamwork, teach the fundamentals of fitness, exercise, and sport, and instill in all participants the concepts of confidence, motivation, and sportsmanship.
Our History
The Carroll County Community Center was organized as a YMCA and received its official charter in May 2001. Generous contributors raised $1.3 million to build the facility. The building was opened in November 2003 and on March 2010 the facility dropped its affiliation with the YMCA.
Our Facilities and Offices
The Carroll County Community Center facility is located on 5 acres of land at 908 East Columbia Street in Flora, Indiana. The facility, with approximately 18,500 square feet, includes a full size gymnasium, fitness room with treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, Hoist machine equipment, free weight area, two locker rooms, kid watch, outdoor playground, storage rooms, and private rental space.
